Paul was born into an unstable environment marked by poverty and alcoholism. He was neglected and abandoned at a young age. On the streets, he had to fend for himself and faced numerous hardships. He wants to make a better future for himself by acquiring skills in both welding and plumbing. These skills will open doors to employment and stability so he can build a self-sufficient life and break the cycle of poverty he has experienced.
